"Split" is the horse Shawn is currently hauling in the heading and heeling. This horse is Sound around, well built, and catches everyones eye when they see him. He is a great minded horse that scores flat footed on both ends whether you just run 2 head or 25. He has top end speed to be a PRCA horse or longer USTRC barriers, and is very quick footed for the short barriers. If you like head horses to be wide....he loves that, or he will run to the hip...your choice. As you can see by the pictures, he is a solid 15.1, stout, and pretty...no vices. We prefer him in the heading...but I have hauled him on both ends. He is a horse that we use as a help horse all day when we are roping on colts. He doesn't require any additional riding, just rope and enjoy. He has a lot of fire across the line and is a very quick horse. He would be best suited for a higher numbered roper, but a number 5 on up should get along fine with him. This horse has lots of talent and lots of ability and he's only 8 years old.
